SMSProbe ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data when you use our SMS delivery testing platform.

2. Data we collect

Account information

When you register, we collect your name, email address, and company name (optional). We use this to create and manage your account.

Test session data

When you run a test, we record the Sender ID you provide, the phone numbers you send to, delivery timestamps, latency measurements, and the message body received on our SIMs. This data is used to generate your delivery reports.

Usage data

We collect basic analytics including page views, feature usage, and test frequency to improve our service. We do not use third-party tracking scripts.

To provide and operate the SMS delivery testing service
To generate delivery reports and test history
To monitor network health and platform uptime
To communicate service updates and billing information
To improve the platform based on usage patterns

4. Data retention

Test session data is retained according to your plan: 7 days on Free, 90 days on Pro, and unlimited on Team. Account data is retained for the duration of your account plus 30 days after deletion.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. We may share data only when required by law or to protect our legal rights.

6. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS using TLS 1.2 or higher. API tokens are hashed before storage. Our infrastructure is hosted in the UK and access is restricted to authorised personnel only.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or export your personal data. Contact us at privacy@smsprobe.co.uk to exercise these rights.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies only, for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of any material changes via email.
